About
Statement of Beliefs
We believe that Jesus Christ is the one true God and is eternally united with the Father and the Holy Spirit as the triune God (John 1:1, 14; Matthew 28:19). Jesus, fully God and fully man, came to redeem humanity through His life, death, and resurrection, and He reigns as Lord over all creation (Colossians 1:15-20).
We affirm that Christ has given His followers authority to continue His work on earth, including healing the sick, casting out demons, and raising the dead, as empowered by the Holy Spirit. This commission is based on Jesus' words:
ESV: “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:12)
KJV: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12)
We reject the doctrine of "once saved, always saved" and hold that salvation requires ongoing faith and obedience. A saved believer can be deceived, fall into sin, and potentially fall away from the faith, as warned in Hebrews 10:26-27:
ESV: “For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.”
KJV: “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.”
HOWEVER, we believe in God’s grace and mercy. When a believer repents and turns back to God, He restores them to righteousness:
ESV: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
KJV: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
What We Do
We recognize that homelessness in the United States is a growing crisis, with more individuals and families struggling to secure shelter and basic necessities. Among the many challenges they face, food insecurity is one of the most pressing. At Christian Hope Trust, we believe that every human being has a God-given right to access quality, nutritious meals, and we are driven by compassion to address this urgent need.
Our programs aim to provide life-changing support to homeless individuals and families by delivering sufficient, nutritious food, including vegetables, fruits, sandwiches, rice, and noodles. Through the generosity of sponsors and well-wishers, we sustain our operations and serve our communities.
Most importantly, we are committed to ministering to those we serve and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. We believe that true transformation begins with a relationship with Christ, and our ultimate goal is to introduce the hope, love, and salvation that can only be found in Him. By addressing both physical and spiritual needs, we strive to fulfill Christ’s command to love and serve others while pointing them to the eternal hope found in the Gospel.
If you share our vision and desire to make a meaningful difference, we invite you to join Christian Hope Trust as a volunteer or partner in this important work.
